10. SILENT DISCO

Give your endorphins a boost by dancing away before the headliners take the main stage! Dancing is exercise after all, right? Just don't forget to open the Pokemon Go app on your apple watch if your still playing! Discover local DJ's, lounge and relax, make new friend, network, recharge your phone, and take fun photos at the photo booth (you know, for the gram). For more information click here.
If you want to play with me, here is my trainer code too: 027341057555

9. THE COLORFUL MERCH

There is merch for everyone! Even if you just wear black or if you only wear bright colors, they have it. Want to skip the lines? Shop here for all your BottleRock t-shirt needs!
8. SPA

Who doesn't love getting pampered with makeup, hair, or glitter? This spa zone is full of everything, a festival braiding & hair bar, Lash Binder (if you're unexperienced like me but still want lashes), and more!
7. DESSERTS & ICE CREAM

Do I need to explain any further? Sweets + Music = IS EVERYTHING.
My local favorite, Kara's Cupcakes!
6. WINE & BEER

It is Napa Valley after all, so wine is must! But remember if you drink, please DO NOT drive. Ride with UBER or LYFT at the designated rideshare pick up location at the intersection of 3rd St. and Coombs St in Napa. Or walk to downtown with your friends while you wait. This years featured wineries are JaM Cellars, St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, Raymond Vineyards, Amuse Bouche, Coup de Foudre, Duckhorn Portfolio, Chappellet Winery, Schramsberg Vineyards, Rombauer Vineyards, Luna Vineyards, Blackbird Vineyards, The Prisoner Wine Co., Art House Wines, Sterling Vineyards, Smith Devereux Wines, Napa Cellers, and Anarchist Wine Co. To view the all beer vendors, click here!

5. LEMONADE STANDS!

Why? Because their lemonades are THAT good!
The lines get long real fast, especially the stands closer to the main stages but its worth the wait, I promise. My tip to cut down on the wait-time is to track down the smaller stages, theres usually a lemonade stand near by with half the people in line, and have cash on you (last year some stands only took cash)!
Pro-Tip: bring your own drinking container, I can't say how many times I almost dropped my drink and who needs straws anyways (save the sea) . I bring my Hydro Flask and fill it with water at one of the many water stations there or I ask that my lemonade be poured in my container.

4. ART
There is a lot of art everywhere at BottleRock Napa! You'll find different types of art displayed, like the iconic LOVE sculpture by Laura Kimpton with Jeff Schomberg, a metal hot air balloon, cactus made out of beer cans, and much more! And those are just a few from last year, I can't imagine what they'll have in store this year. This is art that the gram will love for sure! Aren't these ladies gorgeous?

3. CULINARY STAGE

For me, this has been my favorite stage of all. You get to see some of your favorite performers behind an open kitchen, in a hands-on class with iconic chefs. What could make this better? Seeing a THE IRON CHEF champion himself, Masaharu Morimoto! Captivating the audience with skills. He incorporates such art to his presentation, I am not giving way any spoilers. You have to see it for yourself!
Last year, I witness a guinness world record happen right in front of me on this stage.
The largest Gin and Juice cocktail ever made!

2. FOOD
Napa is known for its amazing restaurants too (not just wine), so the food is a MUST to try! I recommend if you're going with a friend or a group (especially if you are from out of town), order differently, that way you can try a little bit of everything. Heck I do that even though I'm a local, because I want to try as much as I can but still keep it affordable. My local favorites that are coming to BottleRock are Ad Hoc (their fried chicken is AMAZING and I don't like fried chicken), La Calenda (I order their Tostada de Nopales every time), Eight Noodle Shop, (if you're worried about eating noodles on a hot day, they have cooler options), Eiko's Sushi (this is my go-to after a full BottleRock day, last year they stayed open late, so follow their Instagram: @eikosnapa to see their hours this year), JAX White Mule Diner (their BottleRock Tots and their Crispy French Toast with their homemade sausage is amazing), and Napkins Bar & Grill (their Fire Grilled Salmon is so good). Check out the full list of yummy food coming your way here! I am really excited to try Trejos Tacos, who are you excited to try?
*BONUS TIP: while you're in town, make sure to stop by Miminashi Soft Cream Window and try their unique flavors! Their hours are 4pm-10pm Sunday - Thursday & 4pm-11pm Friday and Saturday.
Follow their Instagram: @miminashisoftcream to see what flavors they currently have. Try the sesame honey comb topping, you wont regret it! I literally order it every time, as you see, its popular:

1. THE MUSIC LINE-UP (MULTIPLE STAGES)

I genuinely enjoy having multiple stages to choose from, you get to discover new artists, music, and local musicians. Even if you can't get up close to a headliners stage (because you stood in line for that lemonade lol), you can hear the music, even from afar. And if you don't think its not worth it, you can easily walk to another stage and enjoy another artist! Trust me, you will always find another music stage to enjoy if the main stage isn't your thing. Check the complete 2019 line-up here!
